New Delhi: One97 Communications Limited (OCL) that owns the brand Paytm, one of India’s payments and financial services company and the pioneer of QR and mobile payments, has partnered with World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) – India to enable donations through Paytm app.

This World Environment Day, users can donate to WWF India’s campaign #BeatPlasticPollution through the Paytm Super App.

WWF-India’s #BeatPlasticPollution campaign emphasises on the urgency to tackle the crisis of plastic pollution and championing the cause of a sustainable future.

To contribute to WWF India’s mission, users simply need to open their Paytm app and search for ‘Donations’. Under ‘Make a Donation’, search for ‘World Wildlife Fund for Nature- India’ and enter the name of the contributor and the amount. Paytm drives flexibility of payments with Paytm UPI, Paytm Wallet, Netbanking, debit cards and credit cards. Donations of any amount can be made. Donations to WWF-India will also provide tax benefits to users under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

How to donate to WWF-India:
1.Open the Paytm app and search for ‘Donations’
2.Under ‘Make a Donation’, search for ‘World Wildlife Fund for Nature- India’
3.Enter the name of the contributor and tap on ‘Proceed’
4.Enter the amount and tap on ‘Proceed to Pay’
